Dr. Michael Verber DMD

After graduating from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2003, Dr. Michael Verber began his career working under the mentorship of his father, Dr. Stephen Verber, at Verber Family Dentistry.  While he continues to focus on prevention and treat the general dental concerns of local families, he has founded the Verber Advanced Dental Institute to study and treat complex occlusal (bite relations) and TMJ (jaw joint) problems. The practice has been recognized for its traditional care and contemporary treatment.  For many consecutive years it has been named Harrisburg Magazine's "Simply the Best" dental office and the Carlisle Sentinel's "Best of West Shore."  These awards are a testament to a wonderful staff dedicated to making every patient experience extraordinary.  Customized treatment plans and smile designs are developed to meet unique needs while comprehensive dentistry is delivered in a manner to maximize comfort.  The results are beautiful smiles that last based on sound functional principles. Dr. Verber is a strong believer in advanced education and learning.  He spends time outside of the office speaking, teaching, and studying at educational seminars for practicing dentists and medical professionals.  He has served as the continuing education director for the Harrisburg Area Dental Society and is currently the Associate Director of Study Clubs for The Dawson Academy. Dr. Verber has committed himself to excellence in cosmetic dentistry and implantology, a passion of his since he began dental implant research in 1996 as an undergraduate.  He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.  He is also member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Susquehanna Valley Implant Study Club, and the Central PA Dawson Academy Study Club. Dr. Verber and his wife Kelly are the parents of Vivian and Charlotte.  They love spending family time together at Bethany Beach, Delaware.  From architecture to graphic arts, Dr. Verber enjoys all types of design.  He also enjoys basketball, the Pittsburgh Steelers, trying new restaurants, and writing. “My passion for dentistry is fueled by the amazing people I get to work with.  I look forward to coming to the office everyday because I am surrounded by a great team and wonderful patients.”
